Industrial Accident: The Story of Wax Trax! Records the documentary chronically one most important institutions Industrial Music— the Wax Trax! Records shop and record label—will be having a “test screening” this November in Los Angeles at an special event featuring current and former members of My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Revolting Cocks, Ministry and Front 242.
The 90 film, which received its first public viewing this past April in Chicago—will be held at Hollywood’s Montalbán Theater on Thursday, November 9, 2017
The Hollywood event will feature key artists from past Wax Trax! bands joining a panel discussion of the label’s history. The Q&A event will take place after the film, and will feature Groovie Mann and Buzz McCoy of My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult; Paul Barker of Pailhead, Ministry, 1,000 Homo DJs and Lead into Gold; Chris Connelly of Revolting Cocks, Acid Horse and Ministry; Richard 23 of Front 242 and RevCo; and Julia Nash, daughter of late Wax Trax! co-founder Jim Nash.
A special pop-up shop will also open in the theater offering original vinyl pressings, collectables and memorabilia from the Wax Trax! archives. Tickets to the event will also include a limited Wax Trax! documentary poster, and fans who buy VIP tickets also will get a private meet-and-greet with the artists before the screening.
Tickets run from $29-$80 and are on sale now.
