Sydney Australia’s Death Bells share unrelenting romanticism in their video for ‘Only You’

Sydney Australia’s dreampop newcomers Death Bells plead with fervent intensity their lovesick confusion with their latest track Only You. The song’s unrelenting melody is like a cold wind on a slumbered face—which is perfectly represented by the hazy frore of the single’s accompanying music video—directed by Jai Love.

This is hands down the best song you will hear this month—capturing an 1980’s romanticism like that found in the music of Scotland’s Lowlife mixed with the songwriting found in more recent bands such as Sweden’s The Mary-Onettes.

Death Bell’s debut LP Standing At The Edge Of The World will be released in North America on September 29th via Burning Rose, and Funeral Party Records.
